Mrs. Fannie Pannell, 89, died Monday at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory after an extended illness. A member of Ozark Methodist Church, she was the widow of Tobe Pannell who preceeded her in death in 1936.
Services were Tuesday at Kirkville Baptist Church with Bro. Silas Johnson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Waters Funeral Home of Baldwyn in charge.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Janie F. Bridges of Mantachie, Mrs. Flora Sheffield, Mrs. Nova Lee Bridges and Mrs. Syble Christian, all of Marietta; four sons, Charlie Pannell of Bernie, Missouri, Archie Pannell of Guntown, Hubert Pannell of Baldwyn and Boyce Pannell of Mantachie; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Boren of Memphis, and Mrs. Dovie Barnes of Booneville, 24 granchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 3 great - great grandchildren.
