Donald was born July 27, 1920, in Farm Island Township to Joseph and Dora (Nelson) Enberg. He attended Aitkin High School. He served in the Navy Seabees during World War II in the South Pacific. He lived most of his life in the Aitkin area. He started Enberg's TV Shop in 1955 and retired in 1979. The shop is now operated by his son and grandsons. He was a member of the Aitkin American Legion Post No. 86 and the Aitkin VFW Roberts-Glad Post No. 1727.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Rodney Enberg, Motley, and Gary Enberg, Aitkin; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Jessie Langton, North Hills, Calif.; and a brother, Gordon Enberg, Palmdale, Calif.
A brother, Milton, died earlier.
Military rites were presented by the Aitkin American Legion Post No. 86 and the Aitkin VFW Post No. 1727.
