Ruth H. Dailey
Ruth H. DAILEY, 66, of 1009 E. Ninth St., died at 3 a.m. today at her winter home, 451 Camden St., South Bend. She had been ill for several months.
She was born Sept. 27, 1924 in Medora to John and Mary SINGER HINDERLIDER. She lived most of her life in Rochester. On July 22, 1977 in South Bend she married Clayton E. "Buzz" DAILEY Sr., who survives. She was retired after 43 years from the Rochester Telephone Company. She was a member of the Indiana Telephone Pioneers, the Women of the Moose and the Eagles Auxiliary of Rochester.
Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Connie) CHAPMAN, Galveston; a son, Dennis LEBO, Rochester; three grandchildren; two sisters, Alma CASTEN, Winamec, and Pearl HINDERLIDER, South Bend; two brothers, Paul [HINDERLIDER], Angola, and Raymond [HINDERLIDER], Kewanna. Preceding in death were three husbands, Paul SHAFFER, Floyd LEBO and Thomas BALDWIN, and six brothers and sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Rochester. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday.
