The Normangee Star Vol. XXIII No. 16 Feb 14, 1935 Chester Seale Dies We were all shocked when word came that County Commissioner Chester Seale had fallen dead at his home in Flynn Monday evening. Mr. Seale had been to Centerville, attending the regular session of Commissioners court Monday. He was complaining of not feeling very well, having a pain in his side. It was not thought to be serious however, after court adjourned he came home. But about 8 o'clock he fell over, gasping his last.
He was buried in the Clear Creek Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon, with services being conducted at the residence by Rev. Sheets assisted by Rev. Milton Lewis. Mr. Seale was 50 years of age, and leaves a wife, and two children. The funeral largely attended by people from all over the county. Mr. Seale, being a most highly respected and well-known citizen. He was elected commissioner of this precinct last fall and was serving his first term in that position. A fine man, he will be sadly missed.
