Henrietta M. Knehans was the daughter of George Henry Knehans and Mary A. (Eckelmann) Knehans. Her father lived from about 1849 until about 1891. Her mother from 1854 until 1936. There were four children in the family, with Henrietta being the youngest. In 1906 she married Edward Brumm (1883-1964). Their first son, Edward Jr., died before his first birthday. Their daughter was Ruth C. (Brumm) Baker (1912-2006). Their youngest child was Joseph Daniel Brumm (1916-1992).
