Graveside services for Alfred Lee Burchfield, 90, former resident of Minco, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 1999 in Hazel Dell Cemetery west of Minco. Rev. Eddie Critchfield of the Canaan Baptist Church in Minco will officiate.
Alfred Lee Burchfield was born Dec 7, 1908 in Atoka, the son of Adam Francis and Rachel (Carnes) Burchfield, and died Saturday, March 20, 1999 at Noble.
He had been in the Minco community most of his life. Alfred was a member if the South Lindsey Baptist Church.
He farmed in the Minco area and retired from Tinker Maintenance after 10 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Leota, on July 30, 1945; three brothers, Claude, Walter and Robert Burchfield; and one sister, Winnie Millward.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Sonny and Bobbie Burchfield of Minco; five daughters and sons-in-law. Wilma and Richard Isbell of Noble, Pauline Idle of Minco. Lu and LeRoy Stahlman of Moore, Arlene and Walter Robinson of Irving, Texas, and Jo and Ray Williams of Hobart; two sisters Lavern Bush of Minco and Viola Arnold of Minco; 19 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.
Services are under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco
