Mrs. Gross Rites Held At Tryon
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Methodist church in Tryon for Mrs. Mary Etta Gross, 75, who died Wednesday. The Rev. B. D. Hunn officiated. The Rev. and Mrs. Hunn, and Mrs. Walter Kemp sang "Old Rugged Cross," "Nearer My God to Thee," and "Beautiful Isle," accompanied by Miss Lois Hunn. Pallbearers were John Dahlin, Jack and Billy Neal, Lysle Pyzer, Hugh Priest and Taft Haddy. Burial was at Miller cemetery with the Adams funeral home in charge of arrangements.

William Gross and Mary, his wife, gave birth to 4 children..., Vernon, Annie, Raymond and Ida. Raymond died in Seattle, Washington on September 21, 1968.
