CLAYTON, La.-Services for Cecil Delaughter Sr., 69, of Clayton, who died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, will be at 11 a.m. today at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday with the Rev. Howard Killingsworth and the Rev. Time Lawrence officiating.

Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Delaughter was born Sept. 28, 1936, in Brookhaven, the son of Jesse Delaughter and Bennie Ezell Delaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy Delaughter; a sister, Jewell Delaughter and four brothers, A.J., J.D., Jesse Edward and Leslie Delaughter.

He is survived by his wife Linda Delaughter of Clayton; two daughters, Belinda Russell and husband Ricky and Rebecca Clark and husband Brian of Florence; three sons, Cecil Delaughter Jr. and wife Kerry of Youngsville, La., Patrick Guin and wife Rhonda of Ardmore, Okla. and Waylon Jones and wife Jennifer of West Monroe, La.; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; Betty Jean Delaughter.

Pallbearers will be Jason and Daniel Russell, Cecil James Delaughter III, Larry Nichols, Charles Jordan and Sammy Joe Miller.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Russell, Cecil Delaughter, Waylon Jones, Patrick Quin and Sammy Miller.

Services for Cecil Delaughter Sr., of Clayton, La., were today at Young's Funeral Home in Ferriday, La., with burial in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. The Revs. Howard Killingsworth and Tim Lawrence are in charge of services.

Mr. Delaughter, 69, died March 22, 2006, in Ferriday. He was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 28, 1936, to Jesse Delaughter and Bennie Ezell Delaughter.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Timothy Delaughter; his brothers, A.J., J.D. Jesse Edward and Leslie Delaughter; and his sister, Jewell Delaughter.
