Mrs. Alberta Mae Dukeman, 82, a resident of Winburne, died at the Phillipsburg State Hospital at 8 p.m. yesterday [21 Sep 1952]. The deceased was born at Farmer's Mills, PA, on February 24, 1870 [birth was 1871--see 1870 census where she is NOT listed], the daughter of Jonathan and Margaret Weaver. Her husband, W. D. [William Dillen] Dukeman, preceded her in death in 1926. [She was previously married to Irvin L. Shaffer.] She is survived by the following children Mrs. W.M. [William Mitchell deceased] Hoover [stepdaughter Mannie Emily], Mrs. Vivian Isaacson [Emil], Fred Dukeman [stepson], and Donald Dukeman, all of Winburne, and Mrs. Edna Hickoff, of Roselle, NJ, Allison [stepson] Dukeman of Aberdeen, MD, and Mrs. Margaret Sheffer of Kylertown.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 2 p.m. at her late home in Winburne. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery at Bellefonte. Friends may call at the late home after 2 p.m. tomorrow until time of services on Wednesday.
