Phoebe Elizabeth (Fields) Burton is actually the daughter of Thomas Fields (b10-8-1837 d.5-27-1894 NM) and Franes Groomer.

Thomas and Frances had 5 children (Phoebe,Martha, Luanna, Stephen, & Dora).

Thomas married Nancy Ellis circa 8-1873. This is based on the birth of the first child of Thomas and Nancy who was born 5-1874 in Kansas.
