Chris Edward Maney, 52, of Helenwood, passed away on November 1, 2010, at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

Born in Oneida, September 22, 1958, he was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Maney; brother, Ronnie Maney; grandparents: Marion and Lavada Dockery, and Laranzey and Clelie Maney.

He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Maney of Helenwood; mother, Edith Dockery Maney; son, Chris Maney; sister, Treasa Armes and husband, Steve; brothers: Keith Maney, David Maney and wife, Mary, Michael Maney and wife, Joan, and Nolan Maney and wife, Judy; special cousins, Rickey and Gerald Dockery; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted November 5, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with Bro. Philip Kidd officiating. Music was provided by Michael and Joan Maney. Interment followed at Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery.

Four Oaks Funeral Home of Oneida had charge of arrangements.
