Beatrice Ruth Williams, age 94, longtime resident of Coweta departed this life on Thursday morning, June 17, 2010 at Village Health Care Center in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born on June 2, 1916 in Locust Grove, OK to Price and Zola (Gravitt) Satterfield.

Beatrice was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. She was raised in Locust Grove, OK and attended Locust Grove Schools. Beatrice and D. C. "Bud" Williams were united in marriage on May 9, 1936 in Coweta, OK and he later preceded her in death. She was a homemaker for most of her life. Beatrice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Coweta, OK. She enjoyed playing dominoes, being around her friends, and gardening. Beatrice will be dearly missed by all of her family.

Beatrice is lovingly survived by three sons, Charles Wayne Williams and his wife, Delphia, of Broken Arrow, OK, Billie Gene Williams and his wife, Kaye, of Broken Arrow, OK, and Gerald Douglas Williams and his wife, Rhonda, of Coweta, OK; one daughter, Imodene Christine Harvey and her husband, Jack, of El Cajon, CA; two half brothers, Billy Gravitt of Wagoner, OK and J. B. Gravitt of Muskogee, OK; one half sister, Marie Houston of Locust Grove, OK; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three step-grandsons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, D. C. "Bud" Williams, two sons, Bobby Williams and LaVern Williams, and three half sisters, Wanda Thomas, Lois Wright, and JoAnn Whittaker.

Funeral services for Beatrice will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Coweta with Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta.
