John Peter Chresten Anderson was born on 31 Jul 1877 in Concord, Massachusetts, the fourth child of Peter Anderson and Jensine Tygesen. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war. John grew up in Concord and at age 24 on 17 Apr 1901 in Maplewood, Massachusetts married 34 year old Hulda Marie Anderson, and from that marriage had three children, Alice Dorothy born in 1903, Marjorie Elizabeth in 1906 and John Arnold in 1908. His wife Hulda died on 9 Feb 1908. On 10 Mar 1909, John Anderson married Augusta Seraphine Anderson, a sister of his first wife. John's second wife Augusta died on 12 Jun 1939. John C. Anderson died on 16 Nov 1961 in Concord, Massachusetts. John Anderson, and his wives Hulda Anderson and Augusta Anderson are buried in the Concord Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
