Mrs. Headington died Aug. 8, 2006, at LakeEast in Painesville.
Born Oct. 17, 1926, in Cleveland, she had lived in LaGrange, before moving to Mentor in 1991.
Survivors are her son, John W. "Jack" (Christel) Headington Jr., of Cleveland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, John W. Sr.; and daughter, Judy Ann Headington, are deceased.
Inurnment will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brunner Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Mentor.
