Uncle Gabe and his brother Edward had a clothing store on Dauphin Street called "Dad and Lad." He was a sharp dresser himself,and knew how a gentelman should dress. He and his brother bought 5 acres on Mobile bay and built a beach house. All the family came and enjoyed the beach house. This was the home where some of the best memories were made for the Ferniany Family. He loved his precious wife Aunt Celima (Joseph) and adored his children Elizabeth Ann, Pat, Theodora, and Michael.
