OBITUARY

Services for Harry Thomas BETHEL, 59, an Amarillo resident for 26 years, will be announced by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors.

Mr. BETHEL died February 24, 1974 at the Southwest Convalescent Center. A retired truck driver with Navajo Freight Lines, Inc., he worked for the company for 23 years before his retirement. He was born in Satanta, Kansas.

He was a member of Summitt Baptist Church and a member of Teamsters Local Union 577.

Survivors include his wife, Ernestine; three sons, Fred and Larry Dean BETHEL, both of Panorama City, California and Garland BETHEL of Amarillo; five step-sons; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis THORNTON of Alexandria, Virginia and Mrs. Pat CAFFEY of Fort Hood; three step-daughters; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel CALLIS of Jay, Oklahoma, Mrs. Pearl CLARK of Iola, Kansas; Mrs. Dorothy DANIEL of Dugway, Utah; Mrs. Mabel SCHAFER of Dodge City, Kansas and Mrs. Marjorie BRIDINE of Fort Worth; four brothers, Ross BETHEL of Lamar, Colorado, Robert of Grove, Oklahoma, Leonard of Mojave, California and Joe of Jay, and 34 grandchildren.
