Clodia E. Wyatt was born in Tennessee on November 17, 1866 to Sarah A (Dillard) and William F Wyatt. Clodia's name was spelled differently in various places, for example "Clodia" on her death certificate, but "Claudia" on her gravestone.

In addition to Clodia, the Wyatt children included daughter Arra F and two sons: James G and Woodson Alexander.

Sidney and Clodia were married May 18, 1884 in Smith County, Tennessee. They raised a large family including: William Herschel (1885 - 1903), Charles E (1888 - 1977), Clyde Clinton (1890 - 1948), Lillian E (1893 - 1985), Hayden Harry (1895 - 1973), Henry Clay (1898 - 1988), Pearl Dimple (1902 - 1994), John Wyatt (1904 - 1970), Beulah Bell (1907 - 1974).

Their eldest son William Herschel died at the age of 18. He had been swimming in a river with John Franklin Wyatt, Jr (a distant cousin). When Herschel saw that John was in trouble and likely to drown, he tried to save him, but instead, they both drowned on June 28, 1903.

By the 1910 Census, the Johnson family were living in Macon County, Tennessee. Macon is a neighboring county to Smith county.

March 13, 1926 Sidney passed away in Macon County, Tennessee. Clodia passed away less than a year later on January 16, 1927, also in Lafayette, Macon, Tennessee.
