Funeral services for A.C. Roden were Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Roselawn Funeral Home with George Harris officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Roden died, Thursday, Aug. 14, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Lawrence County to Archie Calvin Roden and Vera Roden.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and retired as a project manager for Fluor Daniel Construction Co. after 22 years of service.
Mr. Roden was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mary Jean Coffey Roden; one son, Steven Roden of Hillsboro; one daughter, Rhonda Roden Howell of Kentucky; one brother, Ben Roden of Rogersville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Rodney Roden, Ryan Roden, Tracy Howell, Cory Roden and Jason Sayle.
