Funeral services for Mary Krehbiel, 101, of Ft. Smith, formerly of Chouteau will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Eden Mennonite Church in Inola. Pastor David Weins will officiate with burial following at Eden Mennonite Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at Key Funeral Home in Pryor. Services are under the direction of Key Funeral Home in Pryor.
Mary was born on April 9, 1909 in Inman, Kansas to Henry G. and Margaret (Pankratz) Kroeker. She grew up and attended school at Inola. She was married to John Hofmeister in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1943. She later married Valentine Krehbiel in 1971 in Inola. Mary was a homemaker and had been a lifelong resident in the Chouteau area. She has lived in Ft. Smith since 2001. Mary enjoyed playing cards and dominoes, crocheting and sewing and she also enjoyed traveling.
She was a member of the Eden Mennonite Church in Inola.
