KANAWHA - Anfin H. Asbe died Monday at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. He had been in the nursing home there the last 10 years. Born May 22, 1882, in Hardin County, he was the son of Hans and Anna Asbe. He was married to Mabel Thompson in 1908. His wife, a daughter, four brothers and seven sisters preceded him in death. Surviving are two sons, Harold and Merle, Kanawha; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Gladys) Shumway, Des Moines; Mrs. Gerd (Wilma) Post, Rolfe; five grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister, Mrs. Elmer (Louise) Thorson, Kanawha. Funeral arrangements are pending at Carter Funeral Home.
