She was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Maude Hodgson, her brothers Jack, Tom and Jim and her sisters Florence and Mary. Hazel was born on Nov. 4, 1927 in Swift Current. Hazel and Lloyd married July 30, 1955 in Swift Current, after which Hazel's primary vocation was homemaker. Hazel was a dedicated member of the Grace United Church where she played the organ, directed the choir and sang for many years. Hazel was also an excellent seamstress and cook. She could make a feast from very little and create costumes and clothing for her family. Some of the costumes won prizes at various local parades and festivals. Hazel will be remembered as a loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
