Georgia Bastian was born on August 10, 1894, in Loa, Utah, daughter of Jacob Sanders Bastian, and Harriet Pheby Ann Taylor. She married John Sylvanus Peterson on June 7, 1916, in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were the parents of 4 sons, Jacob M. Peterson, John Woodrow Peterson, Wayne E. Peterson and J. Reed Peterson. John died in April of 1964, and she later married Marion J. Stringham, Nov. 28, 1971, in Lewiston. She died on July 21, 1992, at the age of 97, and was buried in Morris Hill Cemetery, Boise, Idaho.
