The body was taken to Bloom City where the funeral services were held, interment being made in the Woodstock cemetery. Mr. Beaty's brother, Howard, wishes to thank his many friends who so willingly helped him in his sad bereavement.

Jewell, of this city, received a telegram on Friday conveying this sad news and he went to Spokeville and returned with the body, which was taken to Woodstock for burial. Mr. Beaty was about twenty-two years of age, a married man and leaves a wife [Bessie Belle Morgan] and two small children. His removal to his new home in the north had been very recent, having gone to Clark county a little over a month ago.
