Mary Elizabeth Frantz was born in Shenandoah, Penn. February 12, 1889 and came with her parents to Rouse, Colo. in 1893 and later to Salida, where they have since resided. She was united in marriage to John Adlock on June 9, 1908. To this union were born two children. Mrs. Adlock was taken ill thirteen years ago and gradually became weaker until she was confined to a wheelchair for nine years. Three weeks ago she was taken ill with an attack of the flu which caused her death. She was a member of the Catholic church and was a devout Christian. All that loving hands could so was done to lessen her sufferings. But God knew best and called her on to the Great Beyond. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, John J. Adlock two children, Frank age 16, and Francis age 14, a mother, Mrs. Mary Frantz, one sister, Mrs. Geo. Sinclair and three brothers Frank, Carl and John Frantz.

A precious voice from us is gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.

The family.
