Mr. Trissel was a Muncie native and an Army veteran of World War II. He was employed as a mechanic at Ball Corporation before his retirement because of a disability.
Surviving are a son, Steven F. Trissel of Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Kay) Metcalf and Mrs. William (Linda) Porter, both of Muncie; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Writtenhouse, Muncie; and seven grandchildren.
