Sarah "Sally" Brady is the daughter of James Polk Brady, and Harriet Adeline Godfrey Brady. Her parents moved to Powell , Marion County Arkansas in 1873 from Morganton, Fannin County Georgia.

Sarah "Sally" Brady married Thomas Wright "TR" Stanley in 1901, and they had four children. The children are; Walden Jewell Stanley, James Gordon Stanley, Opal Stanley, and Mildred Stanley.
