Virginia was born November 15, 1912, in Tremonton to Ernest Henry and Maggie Mae Miller Cornwall. She was preceded in death by her husband, father and mother, three brothers, three sisters and two grandchildren.

On December 7, 1932, she married Virgil Leon Anderson in the Logan LDS Temple. This year would have been their seventy-first wedding anniversary. Together they served ten wonderful years as officiators in the Logan Temple, a choice and happy time in their life.

Virginia served in the Relief Society Presidency as a counselor, Young Women's Activities Director, and Stake Sunday School Board. Her love for gospel subjects was displayed in her teaching abilities for both young and old. She enjoyed studying the gospel and scriptures and discussing what she had learned through this study with others. At times she would be asked to speak at funerals and other church functions which she humbly accepted and enjoyed doing. Her other interests include candy making, flower gardening and fishing. At one time in her life, golfing was a passion, and she practiced until she became Skyway's Club Champion. She held this honor for several years.

Hospitality and generosity was always extended to everyone that came into her home. The joy of her life was to be surrounded by her family at the dinner table enjoying the delicious labors of her hands. Virginia has dedicated her life and worked side-by-side with her husband in creating a happy home for her family and loved ones. She made life pleasant and comfortable for her husband, Virgil, during their married years. Always in her heart was a concern for her family and their welfare. Wonderful is her love for us, her children.

They had five children: Monette, Donna, Pam, Curtis & Reese.
