Chico Record, Friday Morning, October 25, 1918, pg 3 col 4: Roland Craig Parker To Be Buried Today. The funeral of Roland Craig Parker, senior member of the Parker Hardware Company, will be held at 10 o'clock this morning from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. W.C. Bair, 16 Seventh street, Rev. William Clark of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be held in Chico Cemetery.
The deceased was married to Sarah Frances Smith in Guernsey county, Ohio, almost fifty years ago. She survives him, as do six children: Mrs. Mary Puderbaugh, Mrs. W.C. Bair, Frank R., and Fred L. Parker, all of Chico; Mrs. J.A. Douglass of Ponca City, Okla., and Mrs. Mary Groves of Berkeley.
Dr. and Mrs. Douglass were returning to their home in Oklahoma after a two months' pleasant visit in Chico and were wired at San Francisco. They returned with Dr. Groves, another son in law, who is teaching in the University of California, to attend the funeral.

72-year-old W. Roland Craig Parker was interred, per the Chico Cemetery Association Records, in the plot noted, on October 25, 1918.
