Services for Evelyn M. Sanderson, 82, of Rt. 1, Camden, were Saturday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Camden. Pastor Erie Murray officiated. Burial was in Camden Cemetery. She died at 4:24 am. Nov. 8 ,1995, in Fountainview Terrance, LaPorte. Born Nov. 13, 1912, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Wilford and Margaret Baum Rariden. Her marriage was on Nov. 23, 1939, in Rockfield, to Robert E. Sanderson, who died May 17,1986. A homemaker, Mrs. Sanderson was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and Jackson Township Extension Homemakers Club. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Camden. A 1930 graduate of Camden High school, she attended Indiana University Bloomington for one year. Surviving are two daughters, Carol Sue Chapman of LaPorte and Mary Ray Jones of Nashville, Tenn.; one step-brother, one half-brother; two step-sisters; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
