Services for Fred M. Suiter, 90, of 3115 Sycamore Drive, who died Thursday evening in a Boise nursing home, will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Summers Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Herbert E. Richards and the Rev. Meredith R. Groves, of First Methodist Cathedral of the Rockies, officiating. Graveside services Ada Lodge No. 3 Independent Order of Oddfellows. Interment will follow at Morris Hill.

He was born March 4, 1876, at Barton, N.Y. He married Grace Zelda Whitley on May 30, 1887. They lived at New Meadows, Cambridge and Midvale before moving in 1923 to make their home in Boise. Mrs. Suiter died in 1947. He was a building contractor, and was a 50-year life member of the IOOF, as well as belonging to Ada Rebekah Lodge No. 80, Canton Columbian No. Three, and bearing the title Past Department Commander of Patriarch Militant.

Survivors include a son, Paul E. Suiter, Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Hulet and Mrs. Thelma Love, both of Boise; a sister, Mrs. Maude Obenauer, Binghamton, N.Y.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two grandsons were killed during World War II.
