Christine Louise Cassaw
Age 54, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2001 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in The Dalles, OR to Amos and Winifred Minneman. They moved to WA state where she graduated from Wilson High School and Central Washington University. While at Central she married her husband of 32 years, Allen Cassaw. After much travelling due to military lifestyle, they moved back to WA state to be near their families. One of her many joys was her work at the Summit Branch of the Pierce County Library System where she made many precious friends. Her friends and family will always remember her for her loving, giving and selfless heart. Christine is survived by her husband, Allen; daughters, Jennifer (Chuck) Dodson and Patricia Torgenson; mother, Winifred Minneman; brother, Richard Minneman; sister, Kimberly Hoover; and the apple of her eye, her grandson, Tyler Torgenson. Viewing Monday from 6-8 PM at New Tacoma Funeral Home. Services Tuesday, October 30, 10:30 AM at Glori Dei Lutheran Church. Interment New Tacoma Cemetery.
