Miss Clara Hughes, a niece of the second wife of James Hanna,
This daybook contains accounts for many of the residents of Woodruff,
S.C. and the surrounding countryside and for their slaves, It is
deposited in the manuscript collection of Duke University Library,
The administration papers for his estate (Spartanburg Probate file
#1632) contains a list of outstanding accounts at his death.
