Myrtle Burris, 90, of Russellville died Monday, October 25, 2010, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.

She was born July 5, 1920, in Buttermilk the daughter of John Marshall and Ona Mae Singleton Patterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy D, Burris; daughter, LaDonna Matchett and great-grandson, Caleb Michael Matchett.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Marshall and Becky Baker of Russellville; four daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Don Burris of Hot Springs, Beverly and Michael Webb of Corinth, Texas, Relda and Jim Headrick of Paris, Texas, Miranda and Bill Caldwell of Shipley; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 27, at St. Joe Free Will Baptist Church, the Rev. Donald Matchett, the Rev. Jerry Don Burris and the Rev. Bill Caldwell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday.

Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery by Lemley Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Bradley Caldwell, Justin Powell, Randy Turner, Christopher Webb, Ken Holmes, Michael Matchett, Joshua Holmes, Steven Baker, Aaron Holmes, and Neil Bailey.

Myrtle was the mother-in-law of Rebecca Joyce "Becky" Smith Baker (daughter of Melvin Elwood "Peck" and Oma Irene Vinson Smith) and granddaughter of Joseph Ishmael "Joe I" and Blance Rebecca Hosman Smith.
