Bill was born on Dec.19, 1931, in Alamance County, NC, the son of John and Ella Mae McBane Andrews. He attended Elon College and served in the US Army. He was the Vice President of McBane Brown Inc. His priority in life was his family and his love and devotion were unmatched. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and his trips to the mountains. He looked forward to the "breakfast buddies" at Panera to start his day.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings; Helen Isley, Gordon Andrews and Wade Andrews. Those left to cherish his memory is his sister, Carol Brown of Graham, NC; his loving wife Barbara Andrews of the home; children; William E. "Eddie" Andrews Jr. of Greensboro, NC, Victor Yarbrough and wife Debbi of Badin Lake, NC, Leigh Anne Yarbrough Lavin and husband Richard of Coral Springs, FL, and Gerri Yarbrough of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer, Gordon and Michael Smith, Zackery and Logan Yarbrough and Sarah Lavin and numerous nieces and nephews.
