PHOENIX, Ariz. – Services for John William Coleman, 78, will be at 1 p.m., Feb. 3, 2007 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery.
Coleman was born and raised in Crittenden County and moved to Phoenix in 1957. The couple returned to Morganfield in 1981. He was a longtime employee of Dunaway's Pharmacy in Henderson. In 2006, Coleman and his wife Betty moved to Phoenix to be near their son.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Betty Jo Davidson Coleman; two sons, Charles Coleman of Arizona and Larry Coleman of Missouri; a daughter, Sherri Brunner of Texas; a sister, Linda Welborn of Madisonville; a brother, Bobby Coleman of Paducah; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Anderson; a granddaughter, Michelle Brown; a great-grandson, Kamdyn Caton; and a brother, Jimmy Coleman.
