Miss Sally E. Leonard, of the Empress building, for many years a seamstress in Decatur, died yesterday in St. Mary's hospital following a stroke suffered last Saturday.
She was born Oct. 7, 1885, in Stonington, a daughter of Edward and Mary Leonard and came to Decatur 35 years ago. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church.
She leaves two brothers, Matt Leonard of St. Louis and Ed Leonard, Decatur, and two sisters, Mrs. Mazie Ebert, Stonington and Miss Tess Leonard of Chicago.
Requiem high mass celebrated tomorrow in St. Patrick's church, with burial in Calvary cemetery.
