She was a member of an old and prominent Pittsylvania County family. She was born in Callands where she spent the greater part of her life. For the past 11 years, she lived with her daughter in Danville.
She was a member of the Christian Tabernacle Church.
Her husband, Joseph Sidney Wells, preceded her to the grave 11 years ago.
She is survived by the following children: L D Wells, B B Wells and Mrs. J C Booth, all of Route 2, Danville, Mrs. T H Elliott of Route 2, Chatham, VA, Mrs. Olen Harris and Miss Vivian Wells, all of Danville and Mrs. Robert Harris, RFD, Danville.
She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: John Aaron, Bill Aaron, Edgar Aaron and Mrs. Peter Elliott and Mrs. Marcia Beck, all of Danville, Mrs. Minnie Grant of Florida, Mrs. Charles Aaron, Mrs. Tom Collins of RFD, Danville and Mrs. Charles Boswell of Dry Fork, VA.
Funeral services were conducted at the Christian Tabernacle Church.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
