Mrs. Sallie Fleming Jackson was married to Judge Peter Pelham of Poulan, Worth County, Ga on June 13, 1917 in Atlanta. She was first married to Dr. John Hunter, then W. F. Winecoff, and William L. Jackson before marrying Judge Pelham. She was living in the Winecoff Hotel when she married Judge Peter Pelham. ( Worth County Local Newspaper, June 15, 1917 page 6.) Her death is noted in the Sylvester Local Feb 22, 1934 page 1. It says that she died at the home of her sister Mrs. Anderson Chamblie, of Woodruff, S. C. on Feb. 8, 1934. It notes that she was the widow of Major Peter Pelham of Poulan, GA. She was survived by a son W. Fleming Winecoff, 2 grandsons: Frank Winecoff and W. F. Winecoff, Jr, and another sister, Mrs. Charles Wesley Bauknight, of Jacksonville, Fl.
Burial noted in the Woodruff Cemetery, Woodruff, S. C.
