Mrs. Rosa Elizabeth Young, age 89 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, October 01, 2013.
Born Tuesday, January 08, 1924 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was a member of Zion Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her Parents, Otto Alexander and Ada Francis Jordan; Husband, Travis E. Young; Daughter, Charlotte Young.
Those left to cherish her memory include her Daughter, Dorothy Jeanette (Sug) Young, Winnfield, LA; Two Sons, Fred Young and wife Jan, Atlanta, LA and Travis Lee Young and wife Cherry, Jonesboro, LA; four Grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 02 at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 03, 2013 at Zion Hill Cemetery with Rev. Wallace Ingles and Rev. Deloy Shows officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
