Charlotte Eugenia Senn Reighley age 95 widow of David Alan Reighley Jr. and daughter of Samuel Eugene Senn and Rosa Eula (Fell) Senn entered into eternal rest with the Lord on November 21 2015 at Pruitt Health Care Six Mile S.C. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday November 25 2015 at Central United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Newberry Memorial Gardens 15127 C.R. Koon Highway Newberry S.C. Pallbearers will be Joel Jacks Jim Stroud Cal Reighley Bobby DeHart Larry DeHart Travis McCracken and Chris Reighley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday November 24 2015 during the hours of 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Whitaker Funeral Home 1704 College Street Newberry S.C. Mrs. Reighley was born on May 4 1920 at Silverstreet S.C. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by daughter Charlotte Ann Reighley; son Samuel C. Reighley Sr.; great granddaughter Colleen Lake McNames; sisters Margaret (Otis) Madden and Elizabeth (Russell) Jacks. Mrs. Reighley is survived by sons David Alan (Mabel) Reighley III West Lawn Pennsylvania and Daniel S. (Michele) Reighley Westminster SC; daughter-in-law Faye Reighley of Greenwood SC; grandchildren Kimberly Ann (Douglass) McNames Wilmington Delaware Donna Marie (Juan) Ayala Leesport Pennsylvania Christopher L. (Melody) Reighley Lago Vista Texas Sarah Louise (Travis) McCracken Westminster S.C. Amanda Elizabeth Reighley Westminster S.C. Betsy (John) Hodgin Lexington S.C. Jenny Reighley Miller Chandler Arizona and Samuel C. Cal Reighley Jr. Irmo S.C.; great grandchildren Margaret Elizabeth Ayala Bethlehem Pennsylvania Aaron Michael Ayala Leesport Pennsylvania Shannon Lucille McNames Wilmington Delaware Connor Alan Reighley Lago Vista Texas Delaney Reighley Lago Vista Texas Reighley Tatum McCracken Westminster S.C. Madeline Hodgin Lexington S.C. and Taylor Hodgin Lexington S.C.; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reighley was a 1937 graduate of Bush River High School. She was employed for many years in the hosiery industry and retired from Newberry County Schools. She was a long time member of Central United Methodist Church and the Lucy Epps Bible Class. Mrs. Reighley was cheerful in all weathers and loved her family dearly. The family is most grateful to Mrs. Susan Senn Stephen Minister from Central United Methodist Church and nurse Nancy Gause whose visits and conversation brought our mother so much joy. The family is also grateful to the pastors of Central United Methodist Church for their visits and to the staff of Pruitt Health Care for their loving care.
