Levi Repman, aged 85 years, a life long resident of Lawrence county, died at his home in Chewton Thursday evening, March 17, after an illness due to the infirmities of age.
Mr. Repman had lived nearly all his life in the community where he died. He was a member of the Wampum Presbyterian church and had always taken an active interest in all church work, especially along the line of music. He had been leader of the choir for many years previous to his illness.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. Carl G. Ender of Harrisburg, Pa., and two sons, Dr. Harry Repman of Charleroi, Pa., and Charles L. Repman of Wampum; two grandsons, Eugene Repman of Wampum and Harry Repman, Jr., of Charleroi. His wife died some years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m. from Chewton Christian church with his pastor, Rev. J. Greer Bingham, officiating. Interment will be made in Slippery Rock cemetery.
