               Mrs. Willie D. Cook

Final rites for Mrs. Willie Dillon Cook, 84, of Cabell Heights will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mount Tabor Baptist Church with the Rev. John Lineberry and the Rev. Kenneth Overdorff in charge. Burial will follow in the Mount Tabor Cemetery.

She died in a local nursing home at 12:40 p.m. Thursday after a long illness.

Born Nov. 28, 1882, at Indian Mills, she was a daughter of the late Rev. James W. and Mary Ford Dillon.

She was a former Raleigh County school teacher and had been a resident of Raleigh County for 62 years. Mrs. Cook also was a member of the Mount Tabor Baptist Church.

Her husband, James B. Cook, preceded her in death in 1965.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Tolbert, Jimmy Tolbert, Harold Snuffer, Eddie Underwood, Charles Cook and James Cole.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Mary) Underwood and Mrs. Clifford (Gertrude) Tolbert both of Cabell Heights and Mrs. Paul (Rose) Snuffer of Charleston; one son, Haskell Cook of Beckley; two sisters, Mrs. G. S. (Mamie) Hartley of Clifton Forge, Va. and Mrs. Bruce (Carrie) Hill of Fredericksburg, Va.; 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchilden.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the Calfee Funeral Home.

The body will be taken from the Calfee Funeral Home to the church one hour prior to services.
