Tampa, Fla. - Loren A. Ahles, 52, of 15308 Stonecreek Lane, died Friday, Aug. 22, 1980, in Tampa after a long illness. He was born April 7, 1928, in St. Clair, and lived there 37 years.
He attended St. Clair High School and Hillsdale College. He was sales manager of Peoples Gas System Inc. Tampa, and was a member of the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club.
Mr. Ahles married Evelyn Tetera Dec. 14, 1957.
He is survived by his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ahles, St. Clair; and three sisters Mrs. William (Betty) Richter, Mrs. Robert (Rita) Gunn, and Mrs. John (Marilyn) Pegg, all of St. Clair.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. Peters Lutheran Church, St. Clair. The Rev. Paul Reyelts, the church's pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours are from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the L. C. Frderrichs Funeral Home, St. Clair.
Memorials may b be made to the St. Peters Lutheran Church Building Fund.
