Funeral services for Robert Louis Calcote, of Port Gibson, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, at New Hope United Methodist Church in Lincoln County, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday at the funeral home from 4 until 8 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

Mr. Calcote, 64, died Nov. 2, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Brookhaven on May 24, 1946, to Virgil Calcote and Genevieve Case Calcote.

He was a gas compressor specialist with Shell Oil Company for 36 years. He worked with GS & I Water Association, and was curator at Grand Gulf State Park for 12 years. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and his sister-in-law, Glenda Calcote.

Survivors are his wife, Bobbie Case Calcote, of Port Gibson; his daughters, Jennifer Calcote, of Brookhaven, and Angie Calcote of Ridgeland; his brothers, Glen Calcote and Landon Calcote, both of Brookhaven; his sister, Magruda Spillers, of Brookhaven; and his godchild, Ciara Venable, of Baton Rouge, La.

Donations may be made in Mr. Calcote's honor to New Hope Music Fund; New Hope Nurture Group; or New Hope Quilting Group.
