SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Alma Carter Young, 94, died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Bay Breeze Nursing Home, Gulf Breeze, Fla. Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Young, a native of Laurens County, was a homemaker and former secretary and bookkeeper for Gilmore Cotton Warehouse. She was a member of Sandersville United Methodist Church, where she was a member of Wesleyan Circle and Fellowship Club.

Survivors include a brother, Ralph Carter, Scott.
