DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for John M. Robinson, Sr., 61, who died at his home Friday morning after a long illness, are to be at 2 p.m. from the First Baptist Church of Delhi.

Dr. John Gibson, assisted by the Rev. C. R. Wroten, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Gay's Funeral Home.

The body will remain at the funeral home until 1 p.m. and then will lie in state at the church until time for services.

Mrs. Robinson was a prominent farmer and rancher.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Vercie [sic Versie] Robinson, Delhi; a daughter, Mrs. D. L. Hammett; a son, John; three sisters, Mrs. Alvie Chisom, Bastrop; Mrs. Jeff Myres and Mrs. Andrew Twinner, both of Meadville, Miss.; three brothers, Bishop and Jack, both of Crowville; and Lenon Robinson, Bastrop; and four grandchildren.
