Recieved additional information from email June 2009:
wife of Francis Marion Reeves. Mother of Nancy Ann Reeves.
She was also the wife of Alexander G Hudspeth who she married 8-20-1871 Carroll Co., Arkansas and was the mother of Effa, Martha, Vernettia, and Drucilla Hudspeth.Daughter of David Carroll & Caroline CHOATE Boydston
Her tombstone reads:
"Manervie J. Hudspeth, Dau. of D. C. & C. C. Boydstun, Born February 23, 1839 Died December 26, 1882. Whosoever Will May Come". (The name Hudspeth is found right below the break in the tombstone)

Manervie married first to Francis Marion Reeves (1832-1863) who was killed in the Civil War. They were the parents of one daughter, Nancy Ann, born 1857, who married John Henry Gibson and they are buried at Big Sandy Cemetery near Marble in Madison County.

Manervie married second to Alexander Hudspeth on 29 August 1871 in Carroll County, Arkansas. (Alexander either died or disappeared since no information can be found on him after 1880) They were the parents of four daughters:

1. Effie L. Hudspeth born 2 November 1872 died 21 September 1940 in Los Angeles County, California. She never married and was a nurse.

2. Martha Hudspeth born 1874 died 18 July 1936 in Los Angeles County, California. She never married and was also a nurse.

3. Alice Vernettia Hudspeth, born 16 September 1876 died 21 January 1941 in Los Angeles County, California. She married Anthony Bewley on 23 April 1893 in Pope County, Arkansas; he died before 1930 when Alice is listed as a widow. She lived with her sisters, Effie and Martha, and was a dressmaker.

4. Drucilla L. Hudspeth, born October 1879. She may be the Drucilla Hudspeth who married Joseph O. Gibson and lived and died in Weld County, Colorado. I can't prove it positively.
