Rita H. Brady, 73, of 113 1/2 North 3rd
Street, McSherrystown, died Monday, 24th
December, at the Hanover General Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Joseph E.
Brady who died 16th September, 1969.
Born in Hanover, she was the daughter
of the late Joseph & Anna Shore Eck.
She was a member of the Annunciation
Catholic Church in McSherrystown.
She is survived by 3 sons, Gerald L.
Brady, of Morrow, Ohio; the Rev. Joseph
F. Brady, of Millersburg; & John A. Brady, of
McSherrystown; 4 daughters, Delores A.
Hertz, of Hanover; Patricia L. Helwig, of Fred-
erick, Md.; Margaret E. Beckner, of Hanover;
& Jean M. Dell, of McSherrystown; 1 brother,
Lewis Eck, of Hanover; 1 sister, Helena Zeig-
ler, of Hanover; 23 grandchildren & 8 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday,
meeting at the Hicks Funeral Home in McSherrys-
town at 8:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christ-
ian Burial at the Annunciation Church at 9 am. Her
pastor, the Rev. Paul M. Miller will officiate. In-
terment will be in the Gettysburg National
Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday evening, with prayers
at 9 pm.
