FUNERAL HELD MONDAY, FOR C. G. POOLE OF LANETT
Funeral services for C. G. Poole, age 62 well known resident of Lanett, were held Monday, December 3 at 4:00 p.m.from the Lanett Congregational Christian Church with Rev. J. D. Dollar and Joe French in charge. Interment was in the Lanett cemetery with Johnson and Blakely conducting. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lera Foster Poole,one daughter, Mrs. W. M. Harper, Atlanta; four sons, Charlie, H. H., Harold and Jack all of Lanett; three sisters and two brothers. The .deceased was a member of the Pleasant Grove -Christian Church and Lanett Masonic Lodge. He had lived his entire life in Chambers County, and had been a resident of Lanett where he was employed with the Lanett Bleachery and Dye Works for the past 25 years. He had been ill for several months.
