Mrs. Harp died at 9:45 p.m. on Christmas Day. Born Nov. 1, 1882, in Lavaca County, and a resident of La Marque for many years, she was the widow of Robert
Sie Harp.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. J. A. Green and Mrs. Glenn Carlisle of Alta Loma, Mrs. B. J. Smith of Peru, Ind., and Mrs. Henry Stokes, 3518 Duroux Road, La Marque; a son, Walter Harp at the Main Street address; a sister, Mrs. Ida McCormack of Pearland; and a brother, Will Gray of Seguin, Texas; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the Confederate Cemetery, Alvin.
